"目的：本学部における3年間のBLSプロバイダー資格取得コース開催状況を振り返ることで、学生にとってより効果的な技術習得方法やコース開催方法を再検討する。\n方法：平成29 年度～ 31 年度に行ったBLSプロバイダー資格取得コースの内容と開催状況、受講状況を整理し、資格取得率を算出した。学生の受講後の感想はカテゴリー化した。\n結果：本学部教員4名のインストラクターでBLSプロバイダー資格取得コースを開催している。対象学年は、3 年生秋学期～ 4 年生春学期とし、9 ～ 10 回／年程度開催しているが、インストラクターが4 名と少ないため、スムーズかつ柔軟にプロバイダーコースを開催できない状況である。3年間の学生の資格取得状況は、1期生77名中取得率74.0％、2期生78名中取得率61.5％、3期生86名中取得率61.6％であった。学生の受講後の感想として、【救命に対する気持ちの高まり】、【知識と技術の習得への満足や自信】、【将来への期待】、【長期休暇に開催することの利点】、【少人数制と丁寧な指導の効果】が挙げられる。\n考察：4名のインストラクターだけでBLSプロバイダーコースを開催していることで、最大受講者数が限られることや開催できる時期が限定され、これらのことが、受講者が増えない要因と考えられた。また、救命に対する意識の向上は、救命救急技術の習得にも影響するものと考えられた。さらに、受講生の増加につながるように少人数制での指導を継続していくことの必要性が考えられた。また、救命率を上げるためには知識と技術の継続が重要であり、そのための環境を検討していくことの必要性が示唆された。\n今後の課題：①資格取得率向上のためにインストラクターを増員して1回のコース受講者を増加させること、多くの学生が受講できるようコース開催日程を再検討すること、積極的に受講できるよう学生のコース受講への意欲を高めること、②救命への意識を高めること、③少人数制のコースの継続、④資格取得後の技術を継続するための取り組みが、今後の課題である。",
