内容記述 | This study aims to reach a consensus on the subject of building offshore wind turbines that were benefi - cial for coastal fi shing to fi shermen. The small test blocks of “Biocompatibility Porous Concrete (BCPC)"with amino acids were prepared and tested in the ocean to observe the seaweed settlement and growth. If the BCPC with amino acids get good results, by attaching it to the substruction of offshore wind turbines, it can be made into a fi sh bed. Test block with amino acid (AB) and control (CB) were set to the seawall of the yacht harbor in the Choshi Marina in Choshi, Chiba. In a pavement on the seawall, test specimens were set to poles that vertically hang using plastic strings and iron wires from the pole and were set 2m (shallow point) and 3m (deep point) from the pole. All AB blocks and only one CB block at the shallow point could show seaweed's settlement and growth. Nevertheless, the process on how to grow seaweed on the specimen were different from place to period.These results show that amino acids in concrete has the promoting ability of settlement and growth of seaweed. The AB blocks attached to the substruction of the offshore wind turbine would later transform to a kind of sea bank which is good for the fi shing industry. Accurate observation and assessment such as 1) the mechanism of sprouting and process of growing seaweed on BCPC, 2) the abundance of species on it, and 3)the total amount of absorption of CO2 of the seaweed - are some of the issues to note in the future. |
