| 内容記述 | 日本初の危機管理学部と薬学部の2学部でスタートした本学が開学して2年目の2005年11月に大学院の開設に向けて、危機管理学に対する社会的ニーズを調査するために、都道府県庁、区市町村役所、消防・警察などの官公庁、および一般企業を対象としたアンケート調査が実施された。また、2012年7月に一般社会人を対象とした千葉科学大学サテライト講座への参加者を対象とした同様なアンケートも実施された。その結果、東日本大震災の前後で危機管理に対する意識に顕著な差が見られた。2つの調査から、「危機管理の人材の必要性」についてみると、「早急に必要」が2005年は7%であったが、2012年は52%であった。「近い将来に必要」までを含めると2005年が34%に対して、2012年は71%と2.1倍となっており、東日本大震災後には「危機管理」に対する意識・関心が急激に高まっているものと推察できる。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Chiba Institute of Science started with two Faculties in April of 2004, the first Faculty of Risk and Crisis Management in Japan and the Faculty of Pharmacy. In November, 2005, the questionnaire was sent to prefectural government and munici-pal offices, fire and police department, as well as various companies to investigate the social needs for a risk management study towards establishment of a graduate school. Moreover, the same questionnaire for the participant in the Chiba Institute of Science Satellite Lecture for the Community-at-Large was carried out in July, 2012. As a result, the remarkable difference in the consciousness to risk management was seen before and after in Great East Japan Earthquake. When we compared the data from the two questionnaires on "the necessity for skilled Risk Management Personnel" the response that "personnel are immediately needed" jumped from 7% in 2005, to 52% in 2012. Those responding "skilled personnel are needed in future", were 34% in 2005 and 71% in 2012, vividly illustrating the awareness of "Risk Management" after the Great East Japan Earthquake. | |||||
